Whenever Somebody updates his/her Facebook status using Blackberry, IPhone,  IPad, Android etc. The name of the device automatically gets mentioned below the status update like Via Blackberry or Via IPad etc. It gives a very strong impression that the person who updated the status owns that gadget.

Now, for those people who don’t own such expensive gadgets can update their status via such devices. Like I don’t own an IPhone but whoever is going to see my Facebook status will automatically assume that I have an IPhone.

It’s easy I am providing direct links to update your status via the following popular devices.

iPhone 4

The above all are Facebook apps, since I am developer at Facebook one can create their own apps.
Create your own Facebook apps now.

Once you create your Facebook app get the API key and follow the following steps.
1)Open a new tab in your browser.
2)Now copy and paste this in the URL Address field:

https://www.facebook.com/connect/prompt_feed.php?preview=true&api_key=API _Key
3)Replace the 'API _Key' with a valid Facebook API key (A list of API keys are provided here or your own key).
4)A page will load, there write your status and at last click on Share.

And in such a way, enjoy pranking your friends.

  4. Problem: it keeps saying that that endpoint is deprecated, regardless of which code I use. Then it tells me to disable the "august_2012" platform. How do I get around that? I am looking forward to updating from my TARDIS.
